Our Thirty-Second Month - Apr 2021

let’s just say that by the end of it, we’re wondering if savouries can be substituted for cake

April was a month of celebrations; as it turned out - some a little more routine than others. In the Ecology office, all four staff birthdays are inside of a month - ranging from the 8th of March through to the 3rd of April... let’s just say that by the end of it, we’re wondering if savouries can be substituted for cake.

On top of the ‘birthday season’ this year, we were fortunate enough to celebrate reaching our annual target; our annual target was a goal set in collaboration with my coach, Caroline Bolderston - about 18 months ago. We came up short in the last financial year; so to achieve the annual target on the 12th of April in this financial year is an amazing credit to our little team. I can’t wait to see where we end up at the end of June, compare those numbers with the previous financial year and share those numbers with you all.

To finish off the month, my little family - Rhiannon, Orlo (& the little one yet to be born) travelled to have a couple of days away to celebrate my sisters wedding in Maleny. I was fortunate enough to be the one to walk my sister down the aisle, and take care of some relatively relaxed ‘MC’ duties. Taking some time out to enjoy the extended family and rest in a quiet place while the team took care of my phone & emails in the most part for those couple of days was a privilege that I certainly appreciated.

On a business front; we’re looking forward to rounding out a strong year of growth - as a lot of real estate businesses no doubt are with these market conditions. On a personal front; the final trimester of pregnancy has us feeling a little angst about the upcoming lack of sleep, but our hearts full of excitement to meet the newest little member of our family.
